About the Site

CombatAircraft.com was introduced in 2000 as a modern military aircraft recognition resource. The intended audience, military personnel in the field that may not otherwise have acccess to this information, quickly flourished into a community of enthusiasts, hobbiests, and other professionals in the sphere of military aviation.

Today, CombatAircraft.com is visited daily by more than 150 countries around the world.

Please be patient while we undergo some ambitious changes to try and bring this community closer together. As of 2010, we have plans to add a blog and forum, and invite some of the community to participate in the content of the site in the form of photographic and literary contributions. And, of course, make changes to our core recognition resource with the addition of new aircraft and updating the existing ones. Even though we may not be able to respond to all your feedback, we do listen and we do appreciate what you have to say.
