US F-16 jets simulate air strikes in Estonia drills to combat Russian threat
NATO was forced to scramble over 400 times in 2014, to intercept Russian military warplanes.
This is NATO's answer to Russia's threat to the Baltics. 14 US Air Force F-16 fighter jets have simulated low altitude ground attacks, during exercises in Estonia this week. Pilots practiced communicating with ground forces, critical skills that would be needed during any future real-life operation.
