Satellite images reveal China's first full-sized aircraft carrier being built at the country's 'warship factory' outside Shanghai
High-resolution satellite images show that the construction of China's first full-sized aircraft carrier is progressing steadily in what has been billed as the country's future 'warship factory'.
The vessel will be Beijing's third aircraft carrier which is expected to be launched in 2021.
Also captured by the pictures are expansive infrastructure work that suggests the ship will be the first of several large vessels produced at the site by the Yangtze River, according to analysts.
