India Navy's MiG-29K to start trials on aircraft carrier INS Vikrant
The Mikoyan MiG-29K is a fourth-generation, twin-engine, multirole fighter aircraft developed by the Soviet Union's Mikoyan design bureau. It is the naval variant of the MiG-29, and is designed for aircraft carrier operations. The aircraft was first introduced in the late 1980s and has been in service with the Russian Navy since the 1990s.
