Denmark’s acting Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen stated that the retirement of the F-16 fighters will now take place in 2025 instead of the previously planned 2027. This adjustment is attributed to the fact that the replacement fighters, F-35s, can be phased in and made operational earlier than anticipated.
