China sends 1 military aircraft, 3 ships around Taiwan despite typhoon

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) tracked one Chinese military aircraft and three naval vessels around the country between 6 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 4) and 6 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 5) as Typhoon Koinu's storm circle enveloped much of the country.
