France plans to deliver French-made Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Ukraine by the first half of 2025, Minister of the Armed Forces, Sébastien Lecornu said in a post on X on October 8, 2024.
On June 6, 2024, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that France would send Mirage-2000 jets to Ukraine and provide training for Ukrainian pilots as part of a new military cooperation program with Kyiv.

The Netherlands has delivered the first U.S.-made F-16 Fighting Falcons to Ukraine, part of the 24 jets pledged to support Kyiv's war effort against Russia. Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans confirmed the delivery, emphasizing the urgency given Russian airstrikes. Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov expressed deep gratitude for the support. Ukrainian pilots are training on the F-16s in Romania.

The government of Kuwait has agreed to start negotiations on the sale terms of F/A-18 Hornet multi-role fighters to Malaysia. The Malaysian newspaper KOSMO reported that Malaysia and Kuwait had agreed to establish a joint committee to begin discussions and negotiations for the purchase of the combat aircraft. At this time, it is unknown how many of the 39 aircraft in the Kuwaiti Air Force (KAF) will be purchased, as the approval of the Kuwaiti government is expected.
