U.S. Army announces arrival of first AH-64E Apache attack helicopters to 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade

On March 12, the U.S. Army announced that the 1st Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment, known as the “Iron Dragons,” received its first AH-64E Apache helicopters at Biggs Army Airfield. The delivery marks the beginning of the Combat Aviation Brigade’s transition to the latest Apache variant.
